Terms and Conditions
1. for the Castle Concerts on 21, 22 & 23 August event by CLAREGROVE LIMITED t/a IML (2 the Promoter IML): and
2. for the Castle Opera on 25 August and the Castle Shakespeare in the Collector Earl's Garden on 27, 28 & 29 August by ARUNDEL CASTLE ENTERPRISES LTD ('the promoter ACE'):
subject to licence approval, the terms and conditions below, and the rules and regulations of the Arundel Festival (the "Festival"), as detailed on the ticket or displayed at the venue (the "Site").
These terms & conditions contain important information, please read them carefully. The use of tickets and entry onto the Site shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these terms & conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them. In the event of any breach of these terms & conditions, the Promoters IML & ACE reserve the right, to cancel tickets, to refuse admission, to eject the holder or to confiscate offending articles, as the case may be, and in any case, to retain any monies paid for the relevant ticket. Tickets cannot be transferred, re-sold, refunded or re-issued. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the Promoters IML & ACE or one of its authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the Site.
No tickets may be used for competitions, promotions or hospitality packages without the written consent of the Promoters IML & ACE, and any ticket so used will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the Site.
Tickets are sold subject to the Promoters IML's & ACE's right to alter or vary the performances and/or the Festival due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
In the event of cancellation of the Festival refunds will be available from point of sale for the price actually paid by the purchaser only. Children's tickets are only available when purchasing an adult ticket and all children must be accompanied. Proof of age for child tickets may be required on Site. Tickets are sent from the IML box office within 7 days and from the ACE box office within 14 days. Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets cannot be replaced or refunded; there will be no admission without a valid ticket. When you receive your tickets, please check them carefully, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Keep tickets in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight, heat or water can sometimes damage tickets.
The Promoters IML & ACE reserve the right to refuse admission to the Festival. Security personnel will conduct security searches of persons entering the Site to ensure the safety of the persons on Site. Entry to the Festival will only be granted via the gate stated on each ticket or accompanying instructions. Any person who fails to comply with instructions from a steward or other person acting for the management may be ejected from the Site. Admission to the Site is at the ticket holder's own risk, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the Promoters IML & ACE's negligence. The Promoters IML & ACE shall have no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the Site.
Please ensure you have everything you need before entering the Site.
Fireworks, smoke canisters, flags, banners or other similar articles are not permitted within the Site, and any person in possession of such articles may be refused entry or ejected from the Site. No illegal substances may be brought onto the Site; any found will lead to prosecution.
Official merchandise, food, drink and general provisions may be available from authorised identified vendors within the Site. No trading shall be undertaken without the consent of the Promoter, any offenders will have their property confiscated and will be ejected from the Site.
Photographic, video or audio reproduction of artists is prohibited. No tape or video recorders, or professional photographic equipment will be permitted on the Site; any breach will lead to confiscation of equipment.
Ticket holders consent to their inclusion in official photographic, visual & audio recordings of the Festival as members of the audience. No animals are allowed on-site, Guide dogs for the blind excepted.
WARNING: IT IS POSSIBLE THAT EXPOSURE TO LOUD MUSIC MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO HEARING. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT STROBE LIGHTING MAY BE USED DURING THE FESTIVAL.
