VISUAL ARTS

Every year THE ARUNDEL GALLERY TRAIL offers visitors the chance to explore this beautiful West Sussex town in a new way. Artists, makers, galleries, shops and homeowners throw open their doors, and let you inside their studios, houses and their creative thought processes. The Trail is mostly walkable with a handful of venue further afield and it’s free to all visitors.

2025 sees the Arundel Gallery Trail celebrating it's 36th year and once again embracing a wide variety of artistic endeavour. Painters are well represented throughout the Trail and amongst the ceramicists, jewellers, sculptors, glass artists, photographers, woodworkers, printmakers and textile artists, you will still find many practitioners in the art of putting paint to canvas and all with strikingly different approaches.

The Gallery Trail runs daily from 22nd - 31st August between 12 noon and 5pm.

You can pick up a free guide at every venue displaying the blue and yellow numbered flags or from many outlets in the town. Entry is free.

Registration opens 15th January and closes 31st March 2026.

Applications for exhibiting in 'The Vic' close 28th February 2026.

All artists and makers will be on hand to discuss their work, much of which is for sale should you be looking for something special.

FORTHCOMING EXHIBITIONS

Drama performance is always a highlight at Arundel Festival of The Arts. Local theatre company, Drip Action, like to produce new, lesser known work that will entertain, be thought provoking, challenging and funny - often at the same time. Home productions are performed in their studio theatre at the Victoria Institute in Arundel and at midsummer in the atmospheric Chapel Barn in South Stoke.
