SHORT STORY COMPETITION



Are you a budding author? Can you use your imagination and creativity to write a short story (max 500 words) and include an illustration of your own.


Make it as imaginative, descriptive and fun or scary as you like as you are the author and you are telling the story.


Sally Gardener a world acclaimed author is coming to Arundel on 17th August especially to talk about her books and you can can come along and say hello. Sally will be going to a

local book shop to sign some of her books and if you are one of the chosen 10 authors to feature in a new book - stories for children by children then you can come along to a book signing of your own

You will get to keep a copy of the book for yourself too.



To enter your story and illustration please send it to events@arundelfestival.co.uk - we will let you know we have received it and winners will be announced soon after the closing date of 31st July.




Drama performance is always a highlight at Arundel Festival of The Arts. Local theatre company, Drip Action, like to produce new, lesser known work that will entertain, be thought provoking, challenging and funny - often at the same time. Home productions are performed in their studio theatre at the Victoria Institute in Arundel and at midsummer in the atmospheric Chapel Barn in South Stoke.
